Hi Team,

I have to back up a database which is on a different server from my local machine is it possible as I only have the dbo rights to this database but no permission to create database?

If yes, its not allowing me to save the backup of that database at the path C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Backup
which is on my local machine or can I save at other location.

Need a workaround for backup. Any help would be appreciated.

To add to that link, you'll need to specify a proper UNC path which means using a share. Do you have a share setup to your backup folder? If not, I would create one to make this easier. Otherwise, you'll need to use c$ admin share, which is not advisable.
