I was looking at the security folder - users and can see I'm against something called dbo

When I look at the Script:

USE [DS Reporting Database]
GO
/****** Object: User [dbo] Script Date: 07/11/2011 15:09:55 ******/
GO
CREATE USER [dbo] FOR LOGIN [XXXXXX\BOB] WITH DEFAULT_SCHEMA=[dbo]

I want to edit this to change the roles and change the username but when I try I get the message:

The login alrady has and account under a different user name

How do I edit this dbo user?

drop user

and rebuild in Mgmt Console where you can specify the role, databases and default schema.

- or -
modify your command to pick a different default schema. (I think you could even leave out the 'with default schema....')
