I have a very large enviroment and attempting to see who has been granted sysadmin, as me losing what little hiar I have left. I want to create a alert that will fire when someone is granted the sysadmin priv..
Is there a away to create such a SQL ALERT?

You could create a DDL trigger and parse the SQL statement.

Or you could run this in a job:
select name from sys.syslogins where sysadmin = 1
