| Hi All, I have created the linked server in sql server 2008 using ODBC provider for ORACLE. When i execute a query it throws me an error as below.The query is OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "TEST" returned message "Unspecified error".Msg 7305, Level 16, State 2, Line 1Cannot create a statement object using OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "TEST". If possible help me in fixing this issue...Also See the query here (note: This query works fine on a different linked server which ORACLE provider and not ODBCThanks, |

| Not much to go on but if the query work on another linked server then it's either a problem with the creation of this linked server or the provider doesn't support what you are trying to do.Does anything work on this linked server?==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.SSIS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
