i have SSRS 2005

i create shared datasource and give user name and password in
"Credentials stored securely in the report server"

the problem is user name and password is deleted from the report manager.

why is it?

can you check if you can create and run a report using local datasource first? once it runs succesfully, try deploying to server and running it from there

ok. but you can still open the report in manager and then go to datasources tab and point it to datasource deployed to server rite?

yes,
but after a few days it is lost the password and userName.
so users start to shout.

i choose option in dataSource in report manager:
"Credentials stored securely in the report server"

why the password and userName disappear?

that might be because you might have set expiration for the password.
