| Dear All,I am having one table with the milions of records. In that on ID field I sets the primary key with the newID().I want to do the partitions on this table. Can anbody please tell me how to do the partitions on the table.Thanks and Regard'sHarish Patil |

| Uniqueidentifier is usually a poor choice for a primary key.How to partition is up to you. do you have a date column, or some other logical key to partition on? |
