Hi,
I have windows7 and I was trying to install sql server 2005 enterprise/developer edition, the following error appears Microsoft SQL Server 2005 -- Error 29503. The SQL Server service failed to start. For more information, see the SQL Server Books Online topics, "How to: View SQL Server 2005 Setup Log Files" and "Starting SQL Server Manually."
any one can help

Hi,
Finally I intalled it after changing the ms.config/boot.ini /advanced option - numproc option to 2 then reboot and install
but the new issue is that I can't find the sql server management studio icon, any help?
