| Ha Ha! really all I do is backup and restore dbs. I deal with custom e-discovery software most of the time. But yes, what I really would like is a TRUE 100% dba job but those are hard to come by. So, I want to be ready when one comes along.10Dawg |

| Good for you! (really)Here's how I got started. I worked through all the topics here and did all the samples:Accessing and Changing Relational DataAlso,Every day look through Active Topics here and see if you can follow along, test the sample code folks post, understand how/why it works, and maybe resolve some of the problems yourself.Like any skill, doing it is how you improve.EDIT:one more thing - when you post your own questions here be sure to provide specific info (in the correct form) so that people can help quickly. Here's how:http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/brettk/archive/2005/05/25/5276.aspxBe One with the OptimizerTG |
