as a dba my weakest skill is sql code. what book/software/web site can I join/buy to get up to par on sql code as quick as I can?

Ha Ha! really all I do is backup and restore dbs. I deal with custom e-discovery software most of the time. But yes, what I really would like is a TRUE 100% dba job but those are hard to come by. So, I want to be ready when one comes along.

Here's how I got started. I worked through all the topics here and did all the samples:
Accessing and Changing Relational Data

Also,
Every day look through Active Topics here and see if you can follow along, test the sample code folks post, understand how/why it works, and maybe resolve some of the problems yourself.

Like any skill, doing it is how you improve.
