I am having a connection problem from my new windows 7 PC ,
i am getting error from Below error from sql query analyzer

A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 53)



But while connecting from windows 7 or vista i dont have the issue .
I am able to ping from the windows 7 Pc to the remote server also please help ?

are the server and pc in same domain?
