I have two tables that I have combined in a query. I would like for the form to make the data from one table static while allowing for data from the other table to be update...i.e.Table 1 Name DOBTable 2 Address PhoneA Customer profile combines both of these tables into a form but I only want info from Table 2 to be able to be edited. Help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't see a specific question. Do you want to prevent updates to Table 1 or do you want your application to only update Table 2? http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/brettk/archive/2005/05/25/5276.aspx

seems like a presentation layer question to me. I think you need to post it in some front end language forums.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SQL Server MVPhttp://visakhm.blogspot.com/
