Hi all,I setup the database as a publisher (sql standard 2008) to replicate to other server which is setup as subcriber (sql 2000).Recently, the publisher database's log file is too big (about 20Gb) so I have tried to use SQL server management studio tool to shrink it but I can not.I read some topics on other forums which said that I had to backup log file or database before I wanted to shrink log file. I have also tried to backup a lot of times and then shrunk log file. But the shrink proccess is stopped without note or alert messageWho has expiriences about shrinking log file of publisher database? please show me how to do that. Thanks a lotTuan |
