 how can I upgrade RAM when I run sql clustering?

I have two notes clustering server with SQL service. I want to upgrade the RAM? what is the step?

Are you using Active-Active or Active-Passive?

I think basically you have to fail the cluster over, swap ram, fail back to the upgraded box, upgrade ram in the other pc, and then put that box back into the cluster.

I think that's the general concept, but please do some more reading research. Don't take my word for it.

I think Michael is right. You would fail over, and upgrade the box that isn't running anything, then fail back to the upgraded box, and upgrade the other.
