Hi,

can anyone help me in this issue, my sp is running for one minute, the application gets time out error. can anyone help in this regards, i runned the profiler to trace and as per suggestions, I have created Indexes.

But still I m facing the same issue.

Can any one help me...for increase the execution time.

did you analyse the execution plan of sp? were you able to identify the costly steps?

Change the timeout propoerty in your application will solve the problem

SqlCommand1.CommandTimeout = 500000

But, still its not a right way to do it, Its a workaround . You have to fine tune Server/query. Performance degradation may happen because on N number of reason(not only Query).

Dear Senthil,

I m DB Admin, I already gave them suggestion to increase the time limit, as per the Recommandations I solved the issue, but the issue still persists, is there any other solution to increase in DB Level.

yeah, optimise the procedure starting with Visakh's suggestion. Tell us what that reveals, post the code here, and folk will make suggestions.
