| Try a google search.Main difference is the maturity and the type of user base and hence facilities available. You don't tend to find high end users on mysql and hence it doesn't get tested/optimised for them.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.SSIS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |

| Another difference is that MySQL is open-source, and therefore potentially free.SQL Server is a commercial product with a big company behind it. Depending on the environment, it can be very expensive. |
