Hey folks. Quick question. During my install I meant to create a non-default instance folder structure. Instead of using D:\MSSQL10_50.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQLI want to have D:\MSSQL.1\MSSQLCan I just update this or does something have to be updated within SQL. I currently have no databases.Thanks for your helpSteve |

You can move the default directories for the database files but not the database instance folders...then you would have to reinstall as Tara says.
