I am using theSQL Server 2008R2 Express with theManagement Studio.

In a previous, aborted attempt to setup and use an SQL database I created a number of queries. I can access these by menu File/Open. I now want to use the queries in a new database with a different name.

The copy/paste method works. If I try to simply change the database name the Parse and Execute I get an error poiting at the quey name as ianvalid.

Is there a better way to simply change the query to the new database and not get the error?

I have the problem solved. The ssms has a menu item File/Open/File with New Connection. After some experimenting (I could find no help files) I got it to allow me to open the file, make any chanes and save it to the new database..

Thank you Cindyaz for answering my original(and premature) post.

how to solve this problem
"A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the pre-login handshake. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted."
