| I am using theSQL Server 2008R2 Express with theManagement Studio. In a previous, aborted attempt to setup and use an SQL database I created a number of queries. I can access these by menu File/Open. I now want to use the queries in a new database with a different name. The copy/paste method works. If I try to simply change the database name the Parse and Execute I get an error poiting at the quey name as ianvalid. Is there a better way to simply change the query to the new database and not get the error?Milt |

| I have the problem solved. The ssms has a menu item File/Open/File with New Connection. After some experimenting (I could find no help files) I got it to allow me to open the file, make any chanes and save it to the new database..Thank you Cindyaz for answering my original(and premature) post.MiltMilt |
