HiI have done a simple successful backup of the database which resided on a server OS and I am unable to restore it to the same version database residing on Win XP Pro.Ant explanations or fix?Thank youSamuel |

Error 38 is 'reached the end of the file'. Implies that the backup file has been truncated (cut off) during transfer Get a new backup, that one's damaged.--Gail ShawSQL Server MVP |
