Hi all,

Got a locked process I'm trying to kill - but it won't die.

Any ideas?

Find out what it's doing

dbcc inputbuffer (spid)

Could be doing something outside the server and waiting for a response or just taking a long time to rollback.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
SSIS can be used in a similar way.

Pretty much just creates a bunch of temp tables+indexes to import data from a CSV on a local drive, and it just won't die!
