| I added few columns to the table and changed the stored procedure(which does update) to accomodate the extra column fields. Then I am getting the following error:"Insert error: column name or number of supplied values does not match the table definition"I am very sure of the count of values and column names in stored procedure. could anyone please help me. |

| “It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.” -- Mark TwainCheck again. The error message is pretty specific. If you can't spot it, post the table definition and the stored procedure code and we'll help ya nail it. |

I dont think the error is in updateI think you're having some insert either to temporary table or something in the procedure where you've not added the new column(s)------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SQL Server MVPhttp://visakhm.blogspot.com/ |
