Hi Team,our DBA forgot the sa password, and there are no more users having sa pwoers. i know the Administrator password, i logged in to the box with windows authentication. but not able to reset as the built-in-administrators also not having the sa previlleges. please suggest. how can i reset the password or how can i use Administrator to work as Administrator in sql server.ArnavEven you learn 1%, Learn it with 100% confidence. |

Start SQL services in Single user mode -m or -f option. and dont start SQL agent else connection may taken by agent itself. Login as windows administrator or domain administrator. you connect the SQL Server. you will get sysadmin privileges. |
