Hi,

i want to create windows user and I want to create a schema only for this user, so i can create views on this schema.
Main purpose is that this users have only read rights on this schema and not all the others schemas or tables in this database.

what would be best scenario?
i have
0. create new schema
1.Create login for this user
2. create user for this user in desider database with default schema on this new schema
3.add role member db_datareader for this user
4. create views in this schema
5. grant select on this views.

but when i complete these, this particular users still sees other tables as well.
should I all use
deny select on whole database to this user? or is there any better practice?

thank you

russell
