| Hi Folks,I am getting ready to perform a migration of SQL server 7.0 database to SQL Server 2000. I read the following article:HOW TO: Resolve Permission Issues When You Move a Database Between Servers That Are Running SQL ServerThere is a reference to a file called Mapsids.exe, I couldn't find a place to download it. Has anybody downloaded the file before. Do you folks have any other ideas of resolving permission issues during migration.ThanksRamdasRamdas NarayananSQL Server DBA |

| What kind of permissions problems do you have when you move the databases? If it's just orphaned users, then run chadmat's sp_change_users_login script to fix them (in the script library).Tara |
