| With SQL Server you have four backup types:"Full", "differential", "transaction log" and "file and filegroup".So with SQL Server backup you cannot choose which table you want to backup.One possibility is to do it with DTS.There are wizards available on line.Please refer to BOL for details.Franco |

| Well you can do it, but you had to have set it up in a certain way. You could have moved your tables into filegroups and then backed up the filegroup. So you could have one table into one filegroup so that you can backup a single table, but I would not recommend this. Anyway, if you want to backup a table, I usually just run SELECT * INTO, or use DTS, or use bcp (don't forget the table script though).Tara |
