| i tried to drop a login user from a database. it gives me a error (cannot drop the user, because it does not exist or you do not have permission) |

| the credential you're using to connect to db doesnot have drop login permission which is why it gives above error. | for droping a login requires ALTER ANY LOGIN permission on the serverand you can check your permission by below query USE DBname;SELECT * FROM fn_my_permissions(NULL, 'SERVER'); GO sandy |
