Hello All,

When I am trying to connect the database gigram from SQL server, I am getting following error. Is there any authorization thing I have to set. How? Please tell me the steps.
How can resolve this issue ?

ERROR:

TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
------------------------------

Database diagram support objects cannot be installed because this database does not have a valid owner. To continue, first use the Files page of the Database Properties dialog box or the ALTER AUTHORIZATION statement to set the database owner to a valid login, then add the database diagram support objects.

BUTTONS:

OK

Thanks and Regard's

Its look like a problem for databases that was migrated from the previous version of sql server having the database owner as a login that has been changed or not having any permission on this new instance. One resolution is to change that particular database owner to SA and make sure the SQL Server services are using a local or domain account with administrator privileges on the server.
Also check the database Compatibility Level. If you found its old then change the level.
