Hi there,
i trie to create a new diagram but it says the database does not have owner, asking me go to Files page under database property to add it. But I tried to add my login account there, still not ok. What should I do? Thanks in advance.

Try changing the owner via sp_changedbowner or ALTER AUTHORIZATION. See Books Online for details.

We use sa for our database owners.

That's just how they designed it. I believe you are using Windows auth mode only.

Does the diagram work now that the owner is sa?
