| Unique Identifier takes 16 bytes to store a GUID. Whereas Varchar would need 36 bytes to store the same GUID.Poeple here plz share yours thoughts when it comes to storage and performance? |

| It's a uniqueidentifier, store it as uniqueidentifier. The storage space is definitely a concern, but data type is more important.Store dates as dates, numbers as numbers, etc. |
