I am fairly new to T-SQL I have a column in my table "Net_Revenue" - i'm trying a simple, basic SELECT query which includes that field, but the numbers come out without commas - how do I have the numbers show up with commas ?

The reporting app or front end app should apply thousand separator formatting, not the db query

Duane is correct that this is a display issue and should be handed by whatever is displaying the data. But, since you are new to SQL Server you might want to investigate the CAST and CONVERT functions. The CONVERT function will allow you to convert between datatypes and specify a format.
