Hi all, errors out as follows when attempting import:

"Test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider. Cannot start your application. The workgroup information file is missing or opened exclusively by another user"

I'm using SP3 which should get me in, and my password is correct as I can access via....Access!

Any idea how to complete this import?

create a copy of this access file elsewhere and try to import and see what happens. could be someone else/process has it locked

Tried that, same result. Also (within Access) upgraded the version to 2002, still no go.

I should add that I can see the table schema in BIDS, I have also been able to extract data per table, but I don't know how to perform a full DB copy in it.
