I've successfully installed SQL Server 2011 Express with Tools on my laptop running Windows 7 Pro. I can't figure out how to start using it - it doesn't show up in the programs list. How do I get started?

SQL Server 2011???? You mean SQL Server 2012 or SQL Server 2008 (or SQL Server 2008 R2)?

Did you install client tools or just the database engine?

did you install desktop tools? if thats installed you should get menu item sql server under start->programs
