| Hi all,First of all I tried to find out the cause for this problem, after i searched everywhere and losing hope, i am submitting this query...Please guys can you kindly help me.........I am unable to uninstall the Reporting services component (named instance), the system throws the following error message."A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file c:\windows\installer\sqlrun_rs.msi"Later... I copied the sqlrun_rs.msi file manually to the location.then I got the following error when i tried to uninstall."The file 'global.asax.2EB942F9_4F82_4F00_809E_725F43AD3569' cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file 'sql.cab'. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package."I've also tried to create virtual directory that was specified in the following forumhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/910544but still the problem persists.....Please can you guide me on this... |
