Hi All,
I'm interested in setting up a Lan-to-Lan connection between two offices and am wondering what the bandwidth requirements to do this would be. What would be a minimum upload/download speed for the connections to do this? Users at one site would be in constant contact with an application (SQL 2008) server at the other site, other than that both sites will have their own domain servers, printers, etc.

Thanks

I don't think there's a good answer we can give you from a SQL Server perspective as we let the network admins handle this aspect of things. But I would say "as fast as you can afford". Can't the network admins monitor the bandwidth at one location and see what it needs as far as the SQL traffic?
