Why are you running SSMS on a production box!!!?

Install the client tools on a client machine. Never run client tools on a production box.

What is the version of SQL Server Database Engine - and the version of SSMS?

To get the database version, open a new query window connected to that instance and execute: SELECT @@VERSION
To get the version of SSMS - go to Help | About

If you are not on 9.00.4035 (SP3) or greater for both, you need to schedule an upgrade. I would recommend upgrading to SP4 and make sure you upgrade all components.
