| SQLServer2005SP3-KB955706-x86-ENU is SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3. Not the SQL Server itself. Are you trying to install SQ Server or the service pack ? KH
Time is always against us
| You have to install SQL Server first before installing any service pack. For SQL Server 2005, see the following on the requirementhttp://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143506%28v=sql.90%29.aspxthe link did not mention anything on Win 7. If i recall correctly, you will need at least a Win 7 Pro edition to install. And For SQL Server, you can only install Developer or Express edition on Win 7 KH
Time is always against us
