| I'm sure the files are there under a full name log file or data file.Did I change a setting or something that I no longer see the file extensions .lgf or .mdf in Explorer folders? |

So the problem is you can't see the file extensions?Make sure (1) your in detail view and (2) you uncheck "hide extensions for known file types" under tools, folder options. |

| Thanks guys. Organize dropdown > Folder and Search Options > View tab >Yes, uncheck the "hide extensions for known file types" I'm using RDP so the 'Computer' file explorer has a different look to it than Windows Explorer.How did it ever get changed?Oh well.You're the best. |
