I am trying to set up an automated back up in the Maintenace Plan folder. When clicking on the Management Folder the Maintenance Plan folder does not appear.

This may be due to the version of SQL Server that I am running. ie Express or Standard.

I have two questions how can I determine what version I am running and if I do need the Standard version how much does this cost?

No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die.
