Hi there,

Some honest advice needed.

My company want to send me on a course which is based around MySQL.

Everything to do with building and administering databases using MySQL.

I use MSSMS on a daily basis, I've never had any need to use MySQL.

Do I tell them the course isn't suitable or is a lot of the stuff I will learn be relevant to MSSMS?

TIA.

MySQL is different RDMS altogether. it has nothing to do with MS SQL Server
If you want to know about a different product, go for it.
