Hi all,Basically what I need to do is move disk resources from one SAN to another. We are running SQL 2000 on a Windows Server 2003, 2 node Cluster. The SQl and and Quorum drives are not a problem but I’m not sure on the MSDTC disk resource. All the docs I have read point to deleting and re-creating the MSDTC resource but frankly I don’t know what the MSDTC is doing and how it will behave once it is recreated. Can I just delete and re-create the MSDTC disk resource once everything else is moved? Are there any tests I can do other than failing over SQl as this is an online change and I don’t want to fail anything over. |
