Dear Fellows I Facing an error when i start >sql Server 2008 MAnagement stion>Connect Then I face Following Error
Please Help me in this Problem.
A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified) (.Net SqlClient Data Provider)
The Above Message Box Is Poped Up when I Press Connect Button.
I insert Correct Server Name

it can be due to various reasons
like sql server service not running in server, connection problems over network etc
are the machines in same domain?
