Can i restore SQL 2005 Backup(.bak) in Sql 2000

No. You'll have to export the data from 2005 to 2000 using SSIS or similar ETL software. Or export to text files using bcp and then import into SQL Server 2000.

Another silly thought

Can i install SQL Server 2000 on Windows Server 2008 64 Bit with SQL 2005 so that i can do import and export

Please suggest

I'm not sure if SQL Server 2000 is supported on Windows Server 2008 64 bit. And even if it was, why do you need to install SQL 2000 if you already have the database in SQL 2005?
