K2 BlackPearl (http://www.k2.com/en/blackpearl.aspx ) 3. Sql Server 2005We are at a point were we need to upgrade all components... but there are a bunch of databases (used by sharepoint and k2) on the sql server 2005.My question is simple ...To upgrade a Sql Server 2005 that has running databases what is the best plan ? strait wizard upgrade ?, export/import, attach/detach ?can anyone give me pointers ? how'to's etcThanks in advancedMiguel AngeloMigas |

Assuming K2 and SharePoint don't mind being upgraded (though you could leave the compatibility level at 90) I would just use the wizard (i.e. the installation package). There should be no reason to import/export or attach/detach. Obviously you should back up all the databases first. |
