E-Mail Delivery in SSRS, is it possible?
What i need is: i need a way to e-mail a message to individual users or groups after subscription report that please go and check the report in portal.
In the mail i don't want to attach the report and even i don't want to attach URL Link in it, i just want to send a message to a group of users that go and check the report in portal.

Please let me know how to do this? Thank you

Have you done a search?
Something like email from ssrs.

Sounds like you know how to email a report - create a report with the message you want to run after the main report and email that.
May be other ways but that's an obvious one.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
SSIS can be used in a similar way.

Ya i searched this in online but i did not get the exact answer what i am looking for...
when i searched in Google it shows mainly while sending email either attach report or attach URL should check compulsory.
But my part is i want to uncheck both with out attaching report and URL i just want to send a message to group of people that go to portal and view report.
Let me know if any one knows process for this. Thanks in adv!!!

Shiva,

I am no expert in SQL... to tell you the truth i suck big time

but here are my thoughts on the subject

there’s a table in the ReportServer database called dbo.Subscriptions

with a column LastStatus

couldnt you just create a job that sends an email if the LastStatus is succeeded????

hope any of this helps..... i also am facing some problems with SSRS
