Hi,

I have one sql script file .sql. I started SSMS (sql server 2008 r2)but I cannot see that file there. Although file is there. I cannot open it directly, Any help?

Click on new query
Then just drag it into a query window or click on the open file icon and select it.
Last resort - open in notepad and copy.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
SSIS can be used in a similar way.
