I have 4 secondary databases taking up 20+ GB on my C: drive. I did not set this instance up and have never used secondary databases. I need that room. Is there any harm in deleting them? Do i have to detach them from somewhere first?10Dawg |

SQL Server Database Secondary Data File (.ndf) Since i posted this I read that is was done for the purpose splitting up the load on the system's Tempdb. They are TempDev2, 3 & 4. They are 5 GB a piece. Is there any harm in shinking these files back to 1GB? Will they just expand back out?10Dawg |
