Hi,

I want to know a good site to learn SQL Server 2005/2008, I know SQL as such. You could also help with a couple of sites if
there is no one most preferred site to learn SQL Server 2005/2008.

Request you to please help me with the answer.

If you already know SQL, Microsoft documentation is a pretty good place to start. They have overviews, tutorials, in-depth articles and white papers along with developer documentation. I even recall seeing couple of free e-books on SQL 2012 on MSDN.

Thanks sunitabeck, for the answer. But, the link gives the tutorials in pieces like database engine, analysis services etc. It is not giving the information in one place.

That's because they are seperate.
SSAS, SSRS, SSIS are client applications.
My view is that they should be sold as separate products.
The idea is that you shuold keep the isolation of the database engine which provides DBMS services - everything else uses those services.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
SSIS can be used in a similar way.
