Client receives XL Spreadsheet with prospective customers.
Client wants to compare XL Spreadsheet to Database and load only new prospects not already in database.
Client wants this all automated.

Anyone ever hear of such a thing Any ideas how to do this

Client is on something and not sharing with DBA's/application staff

Shouldn't be too tough. You have a couple of different options. You could just create a job with steps to insert the excel data into a table using OPENQUERY, and then do your processing on that table. Or you could create a DTS package to import the excel data into a table and then do your processing on that table.
