Hi,

We have following dbs in simple recovery model in Sharepoint 2010 environment:

Sharepoint_UsageApplication
Sharepoint_Search_
Service_UserProfile_01
FAST_Content_Search_Service...
FAST_Query_Search_Service...
DocAve_ControlDB
DocAve_ReportDB
DocAve_AuditorDB

I want to know what is impact if we do not change them to full recovery mode? Or is it necessary to change them to full recovery model?

Thanks

The impact is lack of point-in-time recovery capability. What recovery model you use is dependent upon the business's requirements for data in the event of a crash or similar.
