Hi,This is very basic question but I want to know from someone who did this:Microsoft Customer Service & Support - What is CSS?I know when you have problem for Microsoft product like SQL Server and need help from Microsoft. You will call Microsoft for help if that product is under warranty. My question is what kind of information Microsoft needs from you. Is there any client identifiation number or just they need product key of the software. Thanks |

They'll either ask for license information or you can do pay-per-incident support. I'm not sure the product key matters especially if you have hundreds of servers. Typically you'll have an account with Microsoft and they'll have sent you your account and license numbers. |
