Hello, I wonder if anybody can help?

Our CRM system has a remote version which requires the installation of SQL Server 2008 Express. As part of the installation when the database is created it is set with auto close off.

I have a problem with two of the one-hundred users in that auto close won't stay off. I can log in with the SA account and set auto close to false. However when I restart the SQL service the database dosen't start automatically and auto close is back to true. There was a third user who had this problem but his computer was rebuilt and the problem didn't reoccur.

Has anybody got any ideas?

Thanks
Graeme

That is very odd. What does SELECT @@VERSION show? Maybe you are downlevel and can apply service pack and/or hotfix. Otherwise, I think you'll have to open a support case with Microsoft.
