| I have a simple report:WCC Description Amount 02.09.07 - Tires 170.00 02.09.07 - Tires 350.0002.09.07 - Tires 285.00 02.09.07 - Tires 190.0003.19.08 - Paint 130.0003.19.08 - Paint 280.0003.19.08 - Paint 285.00 06.01.05 - Sink 150.0006.01.05 - Sink 250.0006.01.05 - Sink 85.00 06.01.05 - Sink 150.00 I am not able to change the stored procedure that creates the table, so I need to customize the report. I need to be able to get the total for the group, and then sort by that total. It would be great if we did not even see the detail rows. Can anyone offer any guidance on such a project? |

| you can add a group to ssrs report by using add group wizard. it has a sorting tab where you can specify fields on which to be sorted by------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SQL Server MVPhttp://visakhm.blogspot.com/ |
